Hi! I'm Lisa Hovar, the owner of Maternity Revolution.
I thought "Revolution" (which means "Great Change") summed up my store beautifully. My aim was to create something really different. I wanted Maternity Revolution to offer a wide range of stylish clothes ranging from maternity dresses, maternity bras and much more maternity wear to fit a variety of bodies and budgets, in a comfortable shopping environment.
I didn’t want my store to be another boutique…small and expensive. I wanted a huge store with lots of variety from the everyday at reasonable prices to the special occasion and designer pieces.
Over the years we have added many items due to customer demand. Bras are a case in point. We started out with 1 style of bra and now have more than 20. We found that ladies were finding it difficult to find attractive, yet supportive, maternity bras especially in the larger cup sizes so we set about fixing this problem.
Service is also something that sets us apart. We truly believe that you (our customers) are our most important asset and we treat you accordingly. I am constantly disappointed by the lack of customer service offered by most stores these days. All Maternity Revolution staff are very experienced in Maternity Wear and can answer just about any question you may have in this area. They know the stock inside out and if we don't have what you want, they'll know if we can get it for you.
To date, I've not seen any other Maternity Store that even comes close to mine and judging by my customers rave reviews, I don't think they have either.
About our website
I know it's not possible for everyone to visit the store personally and it is for this reason I decided to create a website with online shopping.
Everything in store is offered online, although often new stock will arrive in store and take a few weeks before it is added to the internet. We have to manually update the stock availability on the website so it may not be 100% accurate all the time. Stock usually sells faster than we can update. If you are making a trip to our store for a particular item you have seen on the website, please contact us first to check it is in stock and we can even put it on hold for you if you like.
About the ordering process
When you place an order, an email will be sent to us via a secure site with your details. We will then confirm your order by either phone or email and providing the items are in stock your order will normally be posted the same day. You should receive it within a few days.
For customers in WA, SA, TAS and NT, Express Post is recommended as it can take up to 2 weeks by normal post to some areas. Express Post usually speeds things up a bit even if you are outside the next day delivery area.
In some cases we might need to discuss sizes with you, or we may need to order an item in. In this case we will phone or email you before processing your order.

The cost of delivery is simple.

Spend over $150 and postage is FREE - Australia only
If you need to exchange an item we will send it to you promptly and standard POSTAGE IS FREE. We'll even let you hold onto the incorrectly sized item until you receive the exchange so that you can compare the two sizes and if necessary you can return both items at the same time if neither size is suitable.
If for any reason you are unhappy with the item you have ordered, just return it to us within 14 days with your receipt and the tags, and we will happily refund you the purchase price of the item (excluding cost of postage). After 14 days we can only offer a credit note or exchange. We can only refund or exchange if the item is new and the tags are still attached so I would recommend that you try the clothes on as soon as you get them and make sure you're happy with them. You'd be surprised how many people would wear them and wash them several times and then expect a full refund because they just don't fit right. We’ve even had people return jeans after they had already taken the hem up!
If any of our maternity wear is found to be faulty within 28 days of purchase we will be happy to replace it if possible and if not we will refund you the purchase price (excluding postage).
Hoisery cannot be returned once the package has been opened.
